When you ask google what the term “staycation” means here’s what you find : a vacation spent in one’s home country rather than abroad, or one spent at home and involving day trips to local attractions.
To me the term “staycation” references a home that you simply don’t need to escape from. A staycation home should have outdoor space that feels like a resort. A staycation home could be a condo by the pond, a mansion with a pool and tennis court, an adorable first time buyer friendly house with a big yard for a swingset and a sprinkler. It’s a spot with a feeling that makes you want to pour some lemonade and put your feet up.
